Why PEEK?
Polyetheretherketone is a thermoplastic polyaromatic polymer with extraordinary qualities as for example light weighted, metal free and biocompatible.
Since the 70th it is used in the aircraft and aerospace industries due to the mechanical properties and since the 90th it is applied in trauma, orthopedic and spinal implants as it is absolutely biocompatible. Therefore it is a material very well investigated with a lot of scientific literature.We have been the first to use it in dental prosthesis as a framework material in implant supported screw retained bridges.  >>
